The Schoolhouse is a wedding + event venue located in a beautifully restored Dallas historic landmark. The Schoolhouse offers the venue for rent for all events, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, celebrations, and holiday parties.

 

We are currently seeking a Venue Sales Manager with great customer service experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about weddings + events, loves working with people, is proactive, and likes to solve problems.

 

Job Title: Venue Sales Manager

Job Location: Dallas, TX

Position Type: Full-time

Wage: Base salary + commission, based on experience

Job duties include:

 

Manage all aspects of the sales process

Respond to and follow up with inquiries

Schedule, confirm, and give private tours

Create proposals and execute contracts

Follow up with overdue payments

Respond to booked client questions

Create client feedback surveys in collaboration with Operations Director

Achieve venue sales targets

 

Marketing + Social Media

Collaborate with TS team to create successful marketing campaigns

Create fun content, especially reels + videos

Update printed marketing materials as needed

Check touch points once a week

(Inquiry form, tour link, Instagram links, linktree, etc.)

 

Office Management/Other

Monitor info email

Refine venue budget in collaboration with Finance Director

Keep commission worksheet updated

Plan and execute venue open houses

 

Requirements

3+ years customer service experience

Ability to work weekends and remotely

Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently

Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Bonus points - experience with Excel, Word, Canva, Instagram, Pinterest, Honeybook
