Do I need an appointment for a tour?

Yes, we offer tours by appointment only. To schedule a tour, click here and see our availability.  Don't see a time that works for you? Shoot us an email at info@theschoolhouseevents.com or text/call us at 214-755-8907.

What is your capacity?

130 for a seated dinner. Quick note - planners generally advise that ~80% of your guest list will attend, so if you guest list is at 150, approx 125 will come.  

What is included in the rental fee?

We have three rental options. You can check out what's included in each package here!

How much time is included?

We offer three rental options, so you can choose between an 8, 10 or 12-hour rental period, including set up and tear down. If you need more time, let us know and we can give you a quote on pricing.

How do I book my date?

A signed contract and 50% of the rental fee is required to reserve your date. The remaining 50% is due 90 days before your event. We accept payment in check, credit or debit.

Can I have both my ceremony and reception at The Schoolhouse?

Yes! We have a beautiful outdoor space and a large indoor reception space. If the weather is bad outside, we can accommodate the ceremony indoors and flip the room for the reception for a $300 fee.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

Yes! You can bring in your own alcohol for your event. We just require a Venue approved TABC bartender to serve. Cash bars are not permitted.

Are outside caterers allowed?

Yes! You can use any caterer you’d like as long as they have a health permit, food managers certificate, and $1M+ general liability insurance. 

What about parking?

We have a parking lot on-site with 45 spaces. For events over 100 guests, we highly recommend a valet service. We will coordinate valet services and cost varies based on the number of guests, but the average price for 100 guests for 5 hours of service is $1,000.

Do you have a catering kitchen?

Yes, we have a large room with prep tables, 2-compartment sink, hotbox, freezer, and a large fridge that your caterer can use.
